Presentation
The WORK PULSE DRIVE 1204 combines high-performance amplification and comprehensive digital processing in a 1U rack-mount chassis. Thanks to its Class D technology, it delivers four independent channels of 300 W into 4 Ω whilst minimising power consumption and heat generation, making it easy to integrate into heavily utilised equipment racks.
Its four-channel configuration offers great flexibility of use. It can power multiple playback zones, a set of full-range speakers or multi-channel systems, whilst maintaining independent control over each output. When more power is required, the amplifier can be configured in bridge mode to deliver two 600 W channels, a solution particularly well-suited to powering subwoofers or high-power loudspeakers.
The built-in DSP processing allows each channel to be precisely tailored to the characteristics of the sound system. Each channel features an eight-band parametric equaliser, high-pass and low-pass filters, a compressor and a noise gate. These functions make it easy to optimise the system without the need for an external processor, whilst ensuring consistent sound quality across a wide variety of environments.
Control is carried out from a computer using dedicated software, via an Ethernet connection utilising the UDP protocol. This centralised management allows users to modify DSP parameters, adjust levels or make rapid adjustments to multiple amplifiers within the same installation – a significant advantage in theatres, hotels, conference centres, places of worship and commercial premises.
To ensure reliable, long-term operation, the PULSE DRIVE 1204 incorporates several electronic protection features against overloads, short circuits, overheating and switching noise when powering on or off. These safety features help to protect both the amplifier and the connected loudspeakers.
Thanks to its four-channel architecture, comprehensive DSP, network control and compact design, the WORK PULSE DRIVE 1204 is a particularly effective solution for system integrators seeking a versatile amplifier capable of managing complex sound reinforcement systems whilst taking up minimal space.
