DBX - ZC3 EU

The DBX ZC3 EU is a wall-mounted controller designed to provide direct access to the functions of a public address system, without the need to physically access the audio processor. Its design is particularly well-suited to permanent installations where multiple configurations need to be recalled simply by a user or operator present in the room.

In an installation equipped with a DriveRack 220i or 260, the ZC3 EU can be configured as a programme selector. It then becomes possible, for example, to set up different configurations to suit various situations: a sound level suitable for everyday use, a specific configuration for a conference, a setting for a performance, or a particular programme for an event. The user simply selects the position corresponding to the desired programme.

With a ZonePRO processor, its capabilities extend to managing sources, assignment pages or scenes. In a hotel, restaurant or event venue, the controller can thus be used to switch from one music source to another or to recall a pre-set audio configuration. In a multi-purpose hall, several scenes can also be associated with different uses of the venue to avoid having to manually adjust a series of settings.

The ZC3 EU communicates with the processor via a CAT5 or CAT5E cable fitted with RJ45 connectors. Integrated DIP switches allow the controller to be identified within the installation and its controls to be assigned to the desired function. Several controllers can thus be positioned at different locations within a building as required.
