Definitive Audio - AD 600X
The Definitive Audio AD 600X is a professional 2-channel amplifier delivering 2 x 300 W into 4 Ω, featuring Class D amplification and internal digital signal processing. Each channel has its own 21-position gain control, whilst stereo, parallel and bridge modes allow you to choose the configuration best suited to your system. The balanced XLR inputs, Speakon outputs and speaker terminals ensure connectivity suitable for sound reinforcement installations.
Presentation
Each channel features independent gain control with 21 positions spaced at 1 dB intervals, allowing precise adjustment of each output level. On the rear panel, you can select stereo, parallel or bridge mode and choose an input sensitivity of 0.775 V, 1.2 V or 32 dB. The balanced XLR inputs are complemented by Speakon outputs and speaker terminals, whilst the male/female XLR connectors allow the signal to be looped through to another device.
The front panel features the essential controls as well as the ON, SIG, -12 dB, -3 dB, CLIP and PROT indicators, allowing you to monitor the amplifier’s operation at a glance. The CLIP indicator alerts you in the event of clipping, and the PROT indicator signals when protection has been activated – a handy feature for monitoring your system whilst in use. With its front and side ventilation, which must be kept clear, the Definitive Audio AD 600X is a solid choice for efficiently powering a professional sound system!
