The Definitive Audio AD 1000X is a professional 2-channel amplifier delivering 2 x 500 W into 4 Ω, featuring Class D amplification and internal digital signal processing. You can use its two channels in stereo, parallel or bridged mode, with independent 21-position gain control to fine-tune each channel. The Definitive Audio AD 1000X delivers 2 x 500 W into 4 Ω, providing your sound system with a generous power reserve. Its Class D amplification is combined with internal 24-bit digital signal processing, with a sampling rate ranging from 44.1 to 192 kHz. The 2U rack-mount format makes it easy to integrate into a fixed installation or a PA rack.
You have 2 independent channels, each with 21-position gain control in 1 dB steps, allowing you to fine-tune the levels with ease. The rear panel allows you to select stereo, parallel or bridge operation, as well as the input sensitivity between 0.775 V, 1.2 V and 32 dB. The balanced XLR inputs are complemented by Speakon outputs and speaker terminals, with male/female XLR connectors for creating a signal loop.
On the front panel, the ON, SIG, -12 dB, -3 dB, CLIP and PROT indicators allow you to keep an eye on the amplifier’s operation. The CLIP and PROT indicators signal signal clipping and any protection mode activation respectively, making it easier to monitor the system during your performances. With its front and side ventilation, the AD 1000X combines high power output, precise controls and a comprehensive range of connections in a format that is particularly practical for sound systems.
