They sound brilliant with great presence without sounding "end." When Eric tried them, he was captivated by the quality of the clear, almost similar to that of a micro Strat. He was also surprised at how well they sounded heavy distortion. If you look at the strength of these microphones, you will see that they are almost similar to PAF. However, their performance is very different on two points: they have less output level and sound brighter than a vintage microphone. In fact, the treble response is comparable to conventional single coil but with a stronger bass response. Finally, this mic is amazing agree or fingerpicking and has excellent definition solo, even with a lot of distortion.
