Guitar Microphone

The EMG MMHZ is a passive humbucker designed to deliver a clean, percussive sound with no hiss or hum. Its clear highs and fast response make it ideal for funk, rock or fusion. A great option for modernising your bass without sacrificing the feel of a passive pickup.

ARTICLE N° 109973
The EMG MMHZ is a passive pickup designed for bassists who want to modernise their sound without sacrificing the character of traditional pickups.

Its dual-coil design, combined with ceramic and steel magnets, limits parasitic noise while offering a clean attack and a dense sound, well balanced between bass and treble.

Unlike vintage Music Man mics, which are often muddled in the low frequencies, the MMHZ produces a well-balanced low end and clear highs that cut through the mix with ease. It is particularly at home in funk, pop, rock or fusion contexts, where articulation is required, but also a solid base under the fingers.

Thanks to its 5-pin connector and the included solderless installation kit, it's easy to install without a soldering iron, making it a simple but effective upgrade.
