The DP241 rings like a PAF, it can give more presence than a standard Minibucker. While this microphone has been designed as a pickup, it will make a great neck pickup for those seeking a warm, jazzy sound. It is a balanced microphone that will suit many situations and guitars. In split position, the sound resemble that of a Strat while in doubles, the color approaches a Paf, especially in the reactivity and the dynamics of the attack.
