The DiMarzio Relentless J Bridge DP301GB is the must-have upgrade for jazz bass fans. Developed with Billy Sheehan, this accessory doesn't do things by halves: 70% more power, formidable clarity and zero unwanted noise.
In the bridge position, the highs are clear but never aggressive, which is highly desirable for mixes. The gloss black metal cover is shaped to follow the curve of the fingerboard. No more protruding screws: everything here is clean, smooth and ergonomic. Its arched shape brings the poles of the strings closer together, which naturally boosts dynamics.
This pickup doesn't shy away from any style, from funk to metal to soul. Thanks to its reinforced shielding and printed circuit mounting, it's just as at home on stage as in the studio.
And for a perfectly balanced sound when mixed with a neck pickup, DiMarzio has thought of everything: the Relentless J Bridge is deliberately a little more powerful. It retains all its definition even when slapped or played very hard.
