The DiMarzio PAF 57 Bridge in its relic white version is a pickup that bridges the gap between the early days of rock and today's modern sound! Inspired by the pickups of 1957, it uses an Alnico II magnet, giving a warm, velvety grain without aggression.

If you're the kind of person who likes vintage sounds, you'll love the DiMarzio DP309Z PAF 57 Bridge in relic white finish! This pickup pays tribute to the first humbuckers from 1957, the ones found on the guitars that changed the face of rock.
Under the shell is an Alnico 2 magnet, a classic choice for warmth. The wire used is 42 AWG enamelled, wound in an irregular pattern. The two coils are electronically matched.
And thanks to the wax potting, there's no annoying hiss, even at high volume or with gain pedals. This pickup is designed to produce a sound that's both smooth and defined, with a nice attack in the highs and a very present bass.
It's at home on a Les Paul-type guitar, but can also work very well on a more modern guitar. The relic white look is the icing on the cake for a guitar project.
