Guitar Microphone
The Dimarzio Illuminator 7 DP757BK pickup is the culmination of John Petrucci's quest for sound, and it could well become your ideal pickup! Designed specifically for his Music Man JP13, this humbucker meets 3 key requirements: more open midrange, slightly raised treble for more presence and ultra-controlled bass to avoid mud.

Presentation
The DP757BK Dimarzio Illuminator 7 Bridge humbucker, imagined with John Petrucci, has been designed to accentuate the difference between the neck and bridge positions. This pickup offers precision and openness. Low frequencies are crisp, mids are present and highs are sharp but never violent. Even when the volume rises, it remains fluid, never muffled.
It's one of the rare 7-string pickups that doesn't lose musicality in the low frequencies. It's equally suited to a guitar with a long neck or a more compact body. Thanks to its clarity, it's easy to mix and doesn't require much equalisation.
And as always with DiMarzio, there's no buzz or hiss. Just pure, precise sound!
