Guitar Microphone
The (The) Tone Zone has become an iconic microphone with guitarists around the world, and has particularly found favor with shredders. Based on an Alnico V magnet and with a (very) relatively high output level, this bridge pickup offers solid and pronounced bass as well as punchy mids, it was designed to avoid the shrill and nasal side that some microphones can have. high output level and works perfectly in split coil.

Presentation
Very quickly becoming an essential following its creation in 1991, The Tone Zone microphone has equipped many guitarists around the world, from simple beginners to the greatest artists.
It is no coincidence that Angel Vivaldi chose it for his signature Charvel model and that the Japanese manufacturer Ibanez equips its Prestige models made in Japan with the famous Tone Zone/Air Norton pair.
This bridge model is designed on an Alnico V magnet base, to maintain warm bass and smoother highs than a Ceramic magnet, with a relatively high output level and strong resistance.
The idea is to have a microphone that can be aggressive but with a huge dose of dynamics, if the attack is straightforward the microphone saturates loudly, if the attack is soft then the microphone remains as clean as possible, while bringing a lot of bass and pronounced low-mids to have a feeling of "big" sound well anchored in the mix. The chords sound heavy and cavernous, the high notes will have more depth than usual.
The manufacturer wanted to counteract the "honeycomb" effect that many microphones with high output levels provided.
But to add versatility to this dynamic microphone, DiMarzio has used on this model its Dual Resonance coil process guaranteeing more open expressiveness which, coupled with the split coil possible thanks to the 4 conductors, offers you the possibility of playing on all terrains and explore different musical styles.
