A Fuzz Face effects pedal, the JHMS1 captures two different flavours of Jimi Hendrix's signature fuzz sound in a single mini-case: an aggressive silicon crunch and a warm, smooth germanium saturation. It features a custom silkscreen design, based on the famous poster of the Jimi Hendrix concert at the Shrine Auditorium in 1968 by the famous rock artist John Van Hamersveld.

This special edition of the Fuzz Face pays tribute to the legendary Jimi Hendrix with a personalised finish that remixes the famous poster of the famous and prolific rock artist John Van Hamersveld in 1968.
Touches of green and blue flames evoke the fiery passion and metaphysical musical experience that Jimi Hendrix gave to the world, while the psychedelic lettering captures the mood of the era.
Packaged in an MXR mini-case, the Authentic Hendrix '68 Shrine Series Fuzz Face Distortion captures two different flavours of Jimi Hendrix fuzz sounds in one mini-case:
- An aggressive silicon-based crunch that he used in the latter part of his career and
- A warm, smooth saturation of the germanium-based fuzz he used in the early years.
On top of that, this pedal features Buffer switching for a wider range of tones and full cooperation with wah pedals such as the Jimi Hendrix Cry Baby Wah, but purists will be pleased to know that an internal dip switch allows you to switch to Tru Bypass.
