The Wave Transformer is a unique complex oscillator with 7 audio outputs, offering an unrivalled range of modulation and sound transformation options.

Its wave shaping method differs from other complex oscillators in that it is not based on conventional wave folding (West Coast synthesis), or filtration (East Coast synthesis). By rotating the Transform control, the Wave Transformer's Complex output can be varied from a simple waveform to a complex, twisted mass of sonic mutations.

The Wave Transformer produces a raw analogue sound, full of character and asymmetry. It lets you explore a wide range of sonic textures, from warm, analogue sounds to glitchy, experimental sounds.

EarthQuaker Devices has equipped it with 7 simultaneous audio outputs, each of which can be individually modulated, giving you great flexibility in modulation and sound creation, opening up a world of creative possibilities.

In order to control each output precisely and easily integrate the Wave Transformer into your Eurorack rack, each audio output of the Wave Transformer is equipped with dedicated volume and pan controls, as well as an attenuator.

The Wave Transformer has inputs for exponential and linear frequency modulation, as well as hard and soft sync, so you can control the Wave Transformer externally to create dynamic, ever-changing sounds.

EarthQuaker Devices has also installed a pulse width control that allows the pulse width of the square output to be set over a range of 0-100%, and the Sub Square and Sub Octave Pulse outputs provide sub-octave outputs for additional modulation.
