This remarkable instrument has a matt black finish that gives it an elegant and mysterious sobriety. The colour also gives it an aggressive edge and a resolutely rock character.
The body of the guitar is made from Paulownia, a light, resistant wood that gives it a bright, punchy sound. The neck is made from American maple, a robust, stable wood that offers excellent playability. The fingerboard is made from Eko WPC, a composite of wood and polymer, for a smooth, comfortable surface.
It is equipped with an HSS pickup configuration with splittable humbucker. This enables it to produce a wide range of tones, from the clear, crystalline sound of single-coil pickups to the powerful, fat sound of the humbucker.
The humbucker bridge is connected to a push-pull pot that allows it to be split into 2 single-coil pickups. This makes for a more versatile sound, ideal for solos and riffs.
The guitar is also equipped with a Wilkinson bridge with vibrato rod, enabling it to produce very smooth and precise vibrato and bending effects.
