ST Style Guitar
The Eko ST 351 Daphne Blue electric guitar is a beautiful instrument. Its maple fingerboard adds a punch, especially when played clean and dry. With overdrive, it's more subtle but still present. The Eko vibrato follows without flinching with moderate use. As soon as you insist, a slight drift may appear. The 648 mm tuning fork retains the familiar 10-46 drawbar. Each note falls naturally into place under the fingers. The tuning machines maintain the tuning effortlessly, even after a few hard bends.

Presentation
The Eko ST 351 Daphne Blue 6-string electric guitar is Italian Strat. Underneath its retro looks, it hides more than one trick.
The neck pickup retains its bite when recorded, especially on clean tones. It cuts through without intruding, which is great for airy layers.
Position 4, light chorus and compression? Yes, the glassy edge is there. Less biting than Frusciante, but the wink works.
Palm mute on the humbucker? The attack is still there. The poplar rounds out just enough, without extinguishing the drive.
The Low C neck and 14" radius are made to move. Not too vintage, but the left-hand vibratos are still natural.
Tone down in the middle position? It's almost like a P90 neck. It's thin, but takes the effects well.
Switching from position 1 to 2 requires a little adjustment. Volume to be tweaked, especially if the humbucker is not split!
With delay, the maple key adds great clarity. The highs rise high without becoming acidic.
The Eko mechanics hold up for three tracks without a hitch. On a full set? A quick check won't hurt.
A Strat from the start, yes. But well thought out.
