This ElectroVoice pack combines the muscular seriousness of the ETX-18SP active subwoofer with the padded ETX 18SP Cover, designed to protect it like a sleepless roadie. The subwoofer is an 18" unit powered by an 1800 Watt Class D amp, housed in a Finnish birch shell that smells of stage sweat. 135dB max SPL underfoot, frequency response from 28Hz to 150Hz, FIR filtering calibrated to the micron, and an LCD screen that assists you without flinching: it's fair to say that this beast is not faking it. And because a monster deserves its armour, the padded, hard-wearing nylon case means you can carry it around without a grumble. A pairing designed to move walls without damaging corners.
