The PolarChoice Desktop 18 is acoustically designed for high-quality public address and broadcast applications. Its frequency response is designed for very natural sound reproduction, for use both at a distance and close up. To maximise gain before feedback, it has 3 directional patterns, with varying degrees of tightness, so you can choose the optimum pick-up. For applications where gain before feedback is not an issue, an omnidirectional pattern is also available. Length of gooseneck: 470 mm (18.5")

The PolarChoice Desktop features the exclusive EV PolarChoice miniature gooseneck microphone. Its versatility makes it a real Swiss Army knife.
With an omnidirectional pick-up pattern and three directional pick-ups available, it's ideal for virtually any installation.
It also includes a switchable high-pass filter to help reduce any vibration-induced noise.
Its large push-button Mute switch offers a much better feel than diaphragm switches.
This can be configured for push-on/push-off, push-to-talk or push-to-mute.
The switches are easy to program without dismantling the microphone.
A switch quickly converts the PC Desktop to automatic mixer mode. In this mode, the sound is always on.
