Electro-Voice - RE97Tx Black

Electro-Voice's RE97Tx is a sub-miniature omnidirectional condenser lapel microphone designed for use with standard EV and Telex wireless bodypack transmitters.

It offers the very latest in discretion and high sound performance. It clips securely behind the ear and can be worn for hours without tiring.

The RE97Tx Black is designed for voice pick-up in places of worship, corporate AV installations, theatres, fixed installations and other locations where natural, balanced, long-range sound is required.

The RE97Tx's omnidirectional pick-up pattern provides clean, accurate sound quality and consistent output regardless of the microphone's position relative to the sound source.

The RE97Tx is designed to be extremely flexible and easily shaped to fit any user's ear. The malleable boom and elbow can be shaped to fit virtually any contour.

The TA4F terminated cable is routed discreetly behind the user and attaches to the shirt collar using the elegant garment clip provided, allowing the cable to be pulled out of the way and preventing the microphone from being ripped from the user's ear.

The supplied windscreen can be used in windy environments and to reduce breath noise. The RE97Tx is supplied with a one-metre shielded cable terminated with a high-quality TA4F connector. It is wired for use with standard EV and Telex bodypack transmitters, including EV (BPU-2/CSB-1000) and Telex (WT-500/WT-1000) models, and operates from a 5VDC power supply.
