The ZXA1-90W active speaker incorporates Electro-Voice technology in a lightweight, robust cabinet, making it the most powerful and versatile compact speaker available today. Combine the ZXA1-90 White with the ZXA1-Sub to create an exceptional professional sound system.
Electro-Voice's ZXxA1 90W powered loudspeakers are fully integrated audio systems with carefully tuned electronics and transducers designed for portable PA applications that require maximum portability.
The EV ZXA1-90 uses the EV8L, a 203mm (8in) high-output, low-distortion woofer. The woofer is paired with the DH2005, a titanium diaphragm compression driver. The compression driver is coupled to a 90° x 50° rotating waveguide for smooth response down to 20kHz and excellent control. The ZXA1-90 is powered by an integrated 800W bi-amp module.
The amplifier has a dedicated XLR microphone input and a line-level input on an XLR/Jack TRS 6.35mm combo socket, as well as an XLR line-level output for daisy-chaining several ZXA1-90 units or adding a ZxA1-SUB.
The bi-amplified design features steep crossover slopes and woofer excursion protection for maximum output and reliability.
A switchable low-cut filter allows it to be used with the ZXA1-SUB. The injection-moulded enclosure of the ZXA1-90 is made of ABS, and features a built-in 45° angle for use as a stage monitor. The bottom of the ZXA1-90 has 4 suspension points for fixed installation.
