External power supply not included.
In most cases, you do not need to use a power supply with the Overhub. However, if you wish to use it with a device that is not self-powered (for example, an external hard drive), you must connect a power supply to the Overhub.
The power supply you use must meet the following specifications:
- Voltage: 5 V DC
- Minimum current: 4 A (3 A on previous units.) This number is written on the Overhub itself so you can see which version you have)
- Barrel connector size: 3.5mm outer diameter, 1.35mm inner diameter, 6mm long
- Polarity: Centre positive
