EQ and Anti Larsen
The Elysia brand offers an excellent musical parametric equalizer, called Museq, based entirely on discrete analogue technology (with single components, not printed circuits). The filter stages are fully active and benefit from a minimalist approach with no coupling capacitors - the basis for a truly musical EQ. Each of the 2 channels offers 3 parametric bands with adjustable Q.

Presentation
Museq is a truly musical equaliser that enhances every new sound by giving it greater depth, width, clarity and definition.
It offers a truly universal concept, covering recording, mixing, mastering and creative tasks alike, without compromising on quality.
The two channels of the museq are strictly identical in terms of the design of their electronics. As a result, they have the same controllers and switches. All the potentiometers have 23 steps for easier recalls and a wider choice of values.
The resonant high-pass and low-pass filters of the Elysia Museq can be switched at 12 dB/octave with an additional resonance peak at the pivot frequency. This makes for some very interesting equalisation curves. Low frequencies in particular can benefit from a low cut with resonance to obtain a bass that is both clean and punchy. But resonance can also be used to stretch low-frequency signals, because the resonant filter causes a longer post-oscillation phase.
One of the strong points of its design lies precisely in that of its high/low pass filters: the resonant high pass is in fact a low pass whose phase is reversed and the signal mixed with the original. The advantage is that the midrange and treble bands are not affected by the processing, so the sound retains all its integrity and punch. You'll love it!
