Epiphone - Broadway Wine Red LH
Epiphone Broadway Wine Red LH The Epiphone Broadway Wine Red LH adapts the jazz archtop for left-handed guitarists, with a design crafted to ensure comfort and freedom of play. Its laminated maple body delivers a warm tone, whilst the Alnico Classic PRO pickups enrich the sound. The SlimTaper 60s C neck completes this fluid and expressive playing experience.
Presentation
The glossy Wine Red finish adorns a silhouette first introduced in 1931, when Epiphone launched its Masterbilt range in New York, before joining the Gibson family in 1957. This historical continuity carries over to the left-handed version without losing any of its character.
The selected spruce top and laminated maple body, edged with 6-ply binding, define this Broadway silhouette with a 24.75-inch scale length. The three-piece maple neck, with a SlimTaper 60s C profile, leads to a rosewood fingerboard with a 12-inch radius, where 20 medium-jumbo frets and mother-of-pearl block and abalone triangle inlays mark each fret. The Graph Tech nut measures 42.93 mm.
Two Alnico Classic PRO pickups, configured in an HH pattern beneath gold-coloured covers, send the rich, woody tone to a 6.35 mm jack, controlled by two volume controls, two CTS tone controls and a 3-position selector switch. The floating rosewood bridge and gold-coloured Frequensator tailpiece stabilise the tuning beneath the black laminated pickguard featuring the Epiphone ‘E’ logo.
The Grover Rotomatic tuners, the Clipped Dovewing headstock edged with 5-ply binding, its Tree of Life inlay and mother-of-pearl Epiphone logo round off the package with gold-plated hardware, including a Crescent Bullet truss rod cover, black Top Hat knobs with silver inserts, 6 strings and a premium gig bag.
