Epiphone - Les Paul Custom Sedona Burst + Etui
The Epiphone Les Paul Custom Sedona Burst is a collaboration with the Gibson Custom Shop team; it draws on the visual hallmarks that have defined the history of this family of instruments since its debut in the mid-1950s, with its instantly recognisable silhouette. This version brings together many iconic features that have been preserved over the generations, including an elegant design, meticulous finishes and a matching hard case – like a perfectly tailored jacket that has taken the shape of a guitar.
Presentation
The instrument retains its iconic visual cues, with rectangular inlays on the fingerboard, a headstock adorned with the distinctive diamond pattern, and multiple decorative purfling across various parts of the body.
Its one-piece mahogany neck, paired with an ebony fingerboard, features 22 medium-jumbo frets – a combination that stays true to the most famous versions of this model.
On the electronics front, Epiphone has fitted Gibson USA 490R and 498T humbuckers, connected via hand-wired CTS, Mallory and Switchcraft components.
The black hard case, with a gold-coloured interior finish and a design in keeping with the identity of the ‘Inspired by Gibson Custom’ collection, completes the package.
