Meet the Epiphone Les Paul Standard '60s Figured Fuchsia, with its electric pink colour and high-gloss finish that creates a great first impression. The AAA flamed maple top adds subtle reflections in the light. Despite its assertive look, the glued neck in slim-taper 60s mahogany (long tenon) retains the warm, direct feel that invites you to play straight away.
The classic 24.75" scale, combined with the laurel fingerboard and perloid trapeze markers, makes bends and riffs easy and fluid. The 305 mm radius and 22 frets give you the flexibility to play tight chords and expressive solos. The 43 mm Graph Tech saddle and oil-immersed Grover Rotomatic tuners guarantee stable tuning, even after energetic sessions.
The Probucker 2 and 3 humbuckers create a massive sound that goes from a round clean to a saturated crunch, depending on how you turn the three-position toggle switch. The CTS knobs (two volumes, two tones) provide enough finesse to shape your grain while remaining instinctive. The LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge and Stop Bar tailpiece ensure resistance to powerful chords and good stability.
The Marshall DSL5C all-tube combo (2 ECC83, 1 ECC82) delivers adjustable power between 5 W and 1 W: perfect for practising in a flat or warming up a small room. The 'classic gain' (clean/crunch) and 'ultra gain' (lead1/lead2) channels are easily linked using the included footswitch. The tone shift and shared tone pots precisely sculpt the highs, mids and lows; ideal if you're moving from smooth blues-rock to taut metal riffs.
