Epiphone - Riviera Royal Tan
Epiphone's Riviera is a classic of the '60s, captivating guitarists of all kinds, including Robben Ford and Otis Rush, Lou Reed of the Velvet Underground, and Nick Valensi of The Strokes. It returns this year in two gorgeous finishes: Royal Tan and Sparkling Burgundy.
Presentation
Crafted with a semi-hollow maple body and maple center block, this guitar delivers a rich, resonant tone that's ideal for a variety of genres while effectively limiting feedback issues.
Its refined appearance is enhanced by a Royal Tan gloss finish that highlights the wood's natural grain. The mahogany neck, with a comfortable Rounded "C" profile, offers excellent grip, while the Indian laurel fingerboard with trapezoid inlays ensures a comfortable playing feel on its 22 medium jumbo frets. With a Graph Tech NuBone nut, this guitar promises tuning stability and precise intonation.
Electronically, the Riviera features two R PRO and T PRO Mini-Humbucker pickups, perfect for exploring tones ranging from crisp, clean tones to warm, rich textures.
Controls include two volume and two tone knobs, all equipped with CTS potentiometers for precise adjustments, as well as a three-way selector switch for maximum versatility.
The Tune-O-Matic LockTone bridge combined with the Frequensator tailpiece ensures impeccable tuning stability and impressive sustain. Elegant details, such as the aluminum "E" logo pickguard, black top hat buttons with metal inserts and Vintage Deluxe tuners, add a touch of sophistication to this iconic instrument.
The Epiphone Riviera Royal Tan guitar is a must-have for players looking for the perfect blend of vintage style and modern performance, while staying true to the brand's legendary heritage.
