Epiphone - Riviera Sparkling Burgundy
The Riviera, one of Epiphone's original classics, is making a comeback! First introduced in the early '60s, the Riviera's semi-hollow design has been a staple for guitarists of all genres and generations, including blues greats Robben Ford and Otis Rush, Lou Reed of the Velvet Underground, and Nick Valensi of the Strokes! Sparkling Burgundy finish
Presentation
Its semi-hollow maple body, combined with a maple center block, gives the Riviera the perfect balance of natural resonance and feedback control.
The mahogany neck, with its Rounded “C” profile, offers a comfortable grip, while the Indian laurel fingerboard features 22 medium jumbo frets and timeless trapezoid inlays. Attention to detail is also reflected in the Tune-O-Matic LockTone bridge and the Frequensator tailpiece, a classic configuration that ensures excellent tuning stability and generous sustain.
Equipped with Epiphone’s signature Mini-Humbucker PRO pickups, the Riviera delivers a rich and nuanced tonal palette, from subtle warmth for jazzy rhythms to bright, biting highs perfect for rock and blues.
Control is provided by two volume and two tone knobs, and a three-way selector switch, allowing for great flexibility in shaping the tone.
With a glossy Sparkling Burgundy finish, Vintage Deluxe tuners with metal buttons, and a pickguard adorned with the iconic “E” logo, every detail reflects the instrument’s vintage charm while meeting the demands of contemporary musicians.
With its prestigious heritage and meticulous construction, this Riviera is for lovers of instruments with a unique character. Gig bag or case sold separately.
