Epiphone - SG Standard Cherry + Housse
The Epiphone SG Standard Cherry takes you straight back to the world of incisive riffs and solos that take centre stage in a rock mix. Its mahogany body and fast SlimTaper neck make this guitar feel alive and responsive under the fingers, ready for powerful blues, classic rock or hard rock. Plug it in and let the ProBucker pickups do the talking for that SG character that has marked generations of guitarists. What's more, it comes in a premium gig bag that protects your guitar when you're on the move and ensures your instrument stays in perfect condition, whether you're on stage, rehearsing or travelling.
Presentation
The glued mahogany neck contributes to sustain and a solid feel under the fingers. The SlimTaper C profile is slim and fast, ideal for players who like to navigate the neck with ease. The rosewood fingerboard, edged with a binding and decorated with pearlescent trapezoid inlays, has a 12-inch radius, making it easy to chord in the first positions while retaining a nice fluidity for the bends.
In terms of sound, the guitar uses two Epiphone ProBucker pickups. The ProBucker 2 in the neck position develops warm, round tones, perfect for blues or rich rhythms. The ProBucker 3, more powerful in the bridge position, provides more attack and presence for rock riffs or solos that need to stand out in a mix. Two volumes, two tones and a 3-position selector give you plenty of nuances to shape your playing.
The hardware completes the package, with Grover Rotomatic tuners, a Graph Tech saddle and a LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge with stop bar. This assembly maintains stable tuning and precise intonation, whether in rehearsal, on stage or in the studio. The guitar comes with a practical premium gig bag to protect it when you're on the move.
