Epiphone - Sheraton Natural LH
The Epiphone Sheraton Natural LH is an electric guitar that adapts the Sheraton shape for left-handed players, with a laminated maple semi-hollow body that enhances the bass without dulling the treble. Its mahogany neck naturally contours to the left hand, ensuring a smooth and comfortable playing experience.
Presentation
The laminated maple body, extended by a laminated maple back and sides and a solid maple centre block, features a top edged with 7-ply binding and a 3-ply back binding that clearly define its contours. The mahogany neck, with a SlimTaper 60s C profile, houses an adjustable truss rod and features a 12-inch (304.80 mm) radius. Twenty-two medium-jumbo frets run along an Indian laurel fingerboard edged with a 3-ply purfling and marked with mother-of-pearl block and triangle inlays, leading up to a 43 mm GraphTech nut.
The Kalamazoo-shaped headstock, edged with a 3-strip binding and adorned with an Epiphone Tree of Life inlay, features gold-plated Wilkinson tuners that tune the strings accurately and maintain stable tuning throughout sets.
The HH pickup configuration features two Epiphone ProBucker mini-humbuckers, at the neck and bridge, housed under gold covers with black trim. A three-position switch and two volume and two tone controls, operated by gold-coloured Top Hat knobs with gold inserts and a cream-coloured selector switch, allow you to adjust the tone from clean to overdriven before the signal is output via a 6.35 mm jack. The Epiphone LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge and the trapezoid-shaped Frequensator tailpiece, both with gold-plated fittings, keep the .010 to .046 strings at a constant tension.
The 1962 Sheraton Historic pickguard, with a tortoiseshell-effect finish, features an aluminium ‘E’ logo and a 5-strip binding, whilst a 2-strip Bullet truss rod cover completes the neck’s profile. Two strap buttons ensure a secure grip during live performances, and a Premium Gig Bag accompanies the instrument from the club to the studio.
