The K13 R2R Silver is a headphone amplifier from FiiO aimed at enthusiasts who want to take their sound quality to the next level in the office. Its R2R architecture is based on 192 precision resistors spread across four channels – a fully passive design that preserves signal integrity and delivers a natural listening experience, free from the compromises of traditional chip-based DACs.
Power is certainly not in short supply: up to 2,400 mW per channel into 32 ohms via balanced output, enough to drive both sensitive in-ear monitors and demanding planar magnetic headphones. Three distinct gain levels ensure perfect adaptation to every type of transducer, guaranteeing optimal control.
