Matrix PowerTap Infinity on-board preamp system, with 3.2 mm piezo sensor and magnetic pickup, for Folk guitar. Thanks to its 2 different sensors, this system ensures a natural sound and perfectly balanced dynamics, even with percussion techniques on the body of the instrument. The system features a compact, jack-mounted preamp, as well as controls for volume, tone and mixing between the different sensors, all cleverly concealed in the rosette for non-intrusive, discreet, solderless installation. The case for the volume and tone control module has been redesigned, and mounted in the rosette so that musicians can adjust their tone effortlessly.
The preamp voicing switch has been relocated and made easily accessible so that it can be adapted more easily to different types of amplification and playing styles.
The easily accessible Blend control mixes the Rare Earth and Tap signals in mono, or passes the two signals through separate channels using a stereo cable.
This feature allows players to manage separate effects, level control and EQ for each mic, to create a stunning soundscape from a single instrument.
