Flight - DUS440 Supernatural Acacia + Housse

A warm glow, a few palm trees on the horizon and that instantly recognisable sound that evokes the islands: the Flight DUS440 Acacia draws its character from the traditional world of the Hawaiian ukulele.

Its construction from laminated acacia – a wood from the same family as Hawaiian koa – gives it a natural aesthetic and a tonal character that lends itself particularly well to sunny rhythms. Its satin finish adds a smooth feel under the fingers and allows the wood’s grain to shine through with simplicity.

Behind this warm appearance lies a design that has been particularly carefully crafted for a soprano ukulele. The African okoumé neck features a walnut fingerboard, whilst the walnut bridge completes this set of naturally coloured woods.

The bone nut and saddle also contribute to the instrument’s acoustic qualities and offer a more refined finish than the synthetic components typically found on entry-level models. The gold-plated geared tuners add an elegant touch to the headstock and make tuning easier.

With its 12 frets and a scale length of 344 mm, the DUS440 retains the compact size of a soprano guitar whilst offering a distinct character of its own. A padded gig bag and a beginner’s guide are included to help you get started from your very first chords.
