Presentation
The Flight Fireball EQ-A Soprano meets the expectations of players who wanted to experience the richness of the brand’s flagship models in a pocket-sized format. This small ukulele immediately stands out thanks to its construction entirely from solid mango wood. This wood offers a unique visual appeal with very pronounced natural grain, but it truly shines for its soft, round and warm tone, often compared to that of koa for its balance and good resonance.
To make the instrument comfortable to play, a chamfer of stained maple is integrated into the edge of the body. This small curve softens contact with the forearm and prevents discomfort during long playing sessions. The African mahogany neck offers a stable grip, whilst the rosewood fingerboard provides a smooth feel under the fingers and helps to mellow the high frequencies that can sometimes be too harsh on a soprano-sized instrument. Fitted as standard with Worth Brown fluorocarbon strings, the instrument delivers clear and precise notes.
Accuracy and vibration transmission are ensured by genuine bone nut and a rosewood bridge fitted with a tuning peg system. If you need to plug into an amp or a mixing desk, the C1U active pickup captures the sound transparently.
The volume and tone control knobs remain hidden beneath the edge of the soundhole to preserve the wood’s clean aesthetic. This model comes travel-ready with a humidifier to protect the solid wood from temperature changes, as well as a very thick burgundy case lined with velvet.
