Flight - NUP310 Pineapple Soprano + Housse

Imagine an afternoon outdoors, a few friends gathered round, and a song beginning to make its way round the table. Amidst the singing, the Flight NUP310 catches the eye with its ‘Pineapple’ shape, quite different from that of a traditional soprano guitar. Its wider body provides more surface area for the soundboard, contributing to a fuller tone and greater volume. This feature really comes into its own when playing unamplified, allowing the chords to naturally fill the space around you.

Behind this distinctive shape lies a design intended to be easy to play day in, day out. The body, crafted from laminated African sapele, features an arched back that enhances resonance and contributes to a clear, brilliant tone. The African okoumé neck features a walnut fingerboard, with a bone nut and saddle, as well as a walnut bridge. The 12 frets of the soprano-sized neck are marked at the 5th, 7th and 10th frets to make it easier to navigate the neck.

With its 346 mm scale length, open-gear tuners and Flight Nylon strings, the NUP310 remains compact and easy to carry. After a session in the garden, on a terrace or over a weekend, it can be stowed away in its padded case. The included Flight booklet helps you practise your first chords, rhythms and a few tablature pieces before you set off to play again.
