Focal - Sub6 Be
The Focal Sub6 BE is an active subwoofer (350W RMS internal amplifier BASH technology) designed for professional monitoring systems. The 27 "Focal loudspeaker with composite sandwich membrane" W "is loaded by a large laminar vent. The Sub6 BE can be used as an LFE channel in a multichannel system. It also offers an additional bass or subwoofer stereo configuration (2.1 or 2.2). The Sub6 has been developed to allow optimal acoustic coupling with professional monitor speakers. It incorporates many settings such as a stereo high-pass filter (75 Hz - 100 Hz) dedicated to the left and right speakers, a customizable low-pass filter with mono summation, a phase inverter, an adjustable phase, a MUTE switch , a 2.1 bypass can be controlled thanks to a control pedal (not included), as well as a connection panel rich in possibilities.

An important asset: the Sub6 has a footswitch input, it allows to connect a pedal and has the effect of cutting the subwoofer as well as e disable the high-pass filters on the outputs feeding the monitors. The footswitch input allows to compare a listening in 2.1 (Sub6 filtered + monitors filtered by the Sub6) and 2.0 (subwoofer disabled + monitors in broadband). The comparison is made instantly, by simply pressing the footswitch, and without the need to move.
