Presentation
The Gibson 1960 Les Paul Standard Reissue Ultra Light Aged Orange Lemon Fade perfectly embodies the spirit and charm of rock’s golden era guitars, while benefiting from modern precision craftsmanship.
This reissue is carefully crafted to capture every nuance of the original, from the aesthetic details to the timeless resonance.
The lightweight solid mahogany body is topped with a two-piece flamed maple top, fitted with hide glue to maximize resonance. Its Murphy Lab Aged Nitrocellulose Lacquer finish adds a patina of authenticity, with a naturally worn look that evokes decades of passionate performance.
The mahogany neck joint is made with a long tenon and hide glue, ensuring optimal structural and tonal integrity.
The neck adopts the 60s SlimTaper profile, offering a smooth and comfortable playability, while the Indian rosewood fingerboard, adorned with aged trapezoid inlays, completes the vintage aesthetic.
The 22 medium-jumbo frets allow for precise playing, whether you are a fan of rich chords or expressive solos.
On the electronic side, the unwaxed Custom Bucker Alnico 3 pickups deliver a pure and authentic tone, recreating the magic of the original PAF. With two volume and tone knobs, each equipped with CTS Audio Taper pots and Paper-in-Oil capacitors, you have exceptional tonal versatility.
The three-position Switchcraft selector switch lets you effortlessly switch from warm, round to biting attack.
Finishes like the aged nickel hardware, ABR-1 wireless bridge and Kluson tuners reflect exemplary attention to detail.
Complete with a brown and pink Lifton case and Certificate of Authenticity, this guitar is not just an instrument, it’s a piece of history, ready to shine on stage or enhance any high-end guitar collection.
