The BurstBucker pickup range was born out of Gibson's desire to recreate the magic of the original 'Patent Applied for' Humbucker pickups. First introduced in the early 1990s, Gibson's BurstBucker pickups (types 1, 2 and 3) reproduce the subtle tonal variations of a classic Humbucker pickup by combining Alnico 2 magnets with a winding of unrivalled quality.
