The legendary Slash is one of the greatest (if not the greatest) ambassadors for Gibson and its favorite model, the Les Paul Standard.
With a career spanning almost 40 years, Gibson wanted to pay tribute to Saul Hudson (his real name) by launching a line of signature models.
But left-handed guitarists aren't left out with this Les Paul Standard Appetite Burst model.
The instrument incorporates all the characteristics that made its big sister Standard so successful, with a mahogany body on which a flamed maple top is glued for the most beautiful effect.
Fans of "vintage" Les Pauls will be happy to find a mahogany neck with a 50's profile, bringing a big resonance, accompanied by its traditional rosewood fingerboard, in the purest respect of the models from the 80s/90s.
The sound of the beast is entrusted to a pair of Gibson BurstBucker Custom Alnico II pickups, incorporating the tone, grain and color of the pickups the artist used on the iconic Guns N' Roses records.
In order to protect its "Nitro" varnish and its great Appetite Burst color (a nod to the album Appetite for Destruction), the beauty is delivered in its flight case with a bonus bag of Slash signature picks.
