Presentation
The Godin 5th Avenue Jumbo HB Memphis Sun guitar has been designed for musicians who want to experience the character of a large, modern archtop made in Canada. Its body, which is deeper than that of traditional 5th Avenue models, delivers greater richness and presence. You’ll enjoy an instrument that responds equally well to chord playing and more intricate melodic lines. Its Memphis Sun finish naturally catches the eye whilst highlighting the elegant curves of the body.
The back, sides and top are crafted from wild Canadian cherry. This construction promotes generous projection and a rich acoustic tone. The silver maple neck provides a comfortable and balanced grip. The rosewood fingerboard allows for smooth movement across all 21 frets.
Its 630.9 mm scale length makes it easier to play wide intervals, bends and complex chords. The adjustable Graph Tech Tusq bridge, combined with the trapezoid tailpiece, contributes to the instrument’s overall stability. The high-ratio tuners allow for precise tuning during rehearsals or concerts. Every component has been selected to enable you to play in the best possible conditions.
The Godin Custom Humbucker neck pickup delivers warm, detailed tones. The Seymour Duncan '59 bridge pickup adds more attack and character when you want to cut through the mix. The 3-way selector switch, along with volume and tone controls, allows you to quickly adapt your sound to any situation. If you’re looking for a guitar that can move from the studio to the stage with equal ease, the 5th Avenue Jumbo HB is definitely worth a look!
