Norman - ST40 CW Natural HG Element

A clear, woody tone emerges from the very first chords on the Norman ST40 CW Natural HG Element, a 6-string electro-acoustic dreadnought with a rounded cutaway. The 647 mm scale length and natural colour, accentuated by a high-gloss finish, create a classic silhouette where the cutaway ensures unhindered access to the higher registers. The solid spruce top is paired with solid mahogany sides and back, resulting in a construction made entirely of solid wood from the top to the sides.

Godin Atelier Compound Tapered Bracing reinforces the top by optimising its rigidity and deflection, ensuring long-term structural stability. The mahogany neck is fitted with a Richlite fingerboard, a stable material featuring 21 frets with no play or excessive tolerance. The ebony bridge and Graphtech nut complete the instrument’s construction, whilst the custom pickguard and inlays by Norman add a distinctive touch to this right-handed, Canadian-made guitar.

When plugged in, the guitar’s natural tone is captured by the LR Baggs Element pickup, pre-amplified to accompany the artist from rehearsal to the stage. A gig bag is included for transporting the instrument, rounding off a package designed to stand the test of time.
