The Grace Design m101 is a single-channel microphone / instrument preamp with balanced, unbalanced and instrument inputs, 1/2 rack size. This device emanates from the enormous success of the Model 101 microphone preamp, with some technological modifications, to make it the ultimate studio preamp! The main changes include: The m101 signal path incorporates 0.5% precision metal foil resistors for optimal signal clarity; a 12-position gold-plated rotary gain selector with a more efficient output line driver and an HPF amplifier are integrated. Also new on the m101: ribbon mode, with a lot of gain and a bypass that turns off the phantom power to protect your ribbon mics, and finally the power supply is now integrated into the m101.
