The Gretsch Catalina Maple Deep Cherry Burst features 7-ply maple construction for a clear, even sound.
The 10 "x7" and 12 "x8" toms feature 30° bevels for easy tuning and well-defined strokes. The 14 "x14" bass tom has great depth and is easy to control in a small room. The 20 "x16" bass drum uses solid hoops for a clean attack and stable hold. The 14 "x5.5" snare features the Full Range Throw Off system, designed for quick adjustment of timbre tension.
The GTS mounting supports the toms without blocking their vibrations, helping to maintain a natural sustain. The shells use easy-to-handle T-Wing screws, making adjustments quicker. The 2.3 mm steel hoops provide a stable sound opening for the toms and snare. Gretsch skins made by Remo add a smooth response right from the first set-up.
The bass drum rests on telescopic legs that ensure stability on any floor. The included double tom stand allows you to install the 2 toms at the height that suits you best. The Deep Cherry Burst finish adds a warm, charming look.
