Presentation
The Gretsch Catalina Maple Purple Gloss drum set uses 7-ply maple drums for a precise, natural sound. The 30° chamfer on each barrel helps the head to vibrate freely and maintain clean contact.
The 2.3 mm steel hoops keep the tension stable. The double tom stand allows easy placement of the 10 "x7" and 12 "x8" toms. The 14 "x14" tom rests on an easy-to-adjust base and remains stable on stage or in rehearsal.
The 20 "x16" bass drum is fitted with insulated grips and telescopic legs that prevent forward movement. The bass drum's matching wooden hoops provide a visual touch that works well with the Purple Gloss finish. The 14 "x5.5" snare features the updated Full Range Throw Off system for straightforward tone adjustment.
The GTS mount allows the toms to vibrate without being blocked by the mount. The Gretsch heads, made by Remo, arrive already mounted and ready for initial tuning. The chrome hardware is designed to remain solid over time. The barrels have a natural interior that helps the sound to remain consistent from barrel to barrel.
