The Gretsch Catalina Maple Walnut Glaze drum kit uses 7-ply maple drums, which give a very pleasant warmth under the sticks.
The 8" tom offers a lively attack that works well to open up your patterns. The 10" and 12" complete the build-up with a clear, easy-to-control register. The 14" bass tom adds a deep midrange that naturally fills the space. The 16" expands the bass even further, giving your grooves a serious foundation. The 22 "x16" bass drum provides a solid, responsive kick that's perfect for keeping a clean tempo. The 14 "x6.5" snare responds quickly, allowing you to play both straightforward accents and subtle ghost notes.
