Presentation
More than just a guitar, the Polara is pure rock'n'roll.
With its lightweight, ultra-ergonomic mahogany body, sculpted contours and minimalist hardware, it's an ode to freedom of movement. Add to that a string-through design for exceptional sustain and response, and you've got an ideal riff machine.
But the Polara doesn't stop there. Guild has fitted it with its new HB-2+ pickups, descendants of the famous HB-1.
Simple and effective, they don't cut any corners, and thanks to Alnico V magnets they deliver tons of character and personality.
For the neck, Guild has opted for a classic: a mahogany U-profile, a 24.75" scale and a rosewood fingerboard. Comfort, playability and a vintage look.

Toggle Switch 3 positions :
1. Bridge:
This position has the most "edge" or "bite". Overwound for a big, powerful sound without sounding too dark, an excellent tool for pushing an amp into singing distortion. Perfect for solos or in your rhythm parts, the HB-2+ humbucker has a bold, rich sound that's equally suited to any musical style.
2. Bridge + Neck:
This position combines the tones of the neck and bridge humbuckers. Thick, creamy mids, fat, round basses and clear highs make for an excellent all-round sound.
3. Neck:
This position produces a warm, round sound, ranging from lead lines to clear rhythm.
