Hagstrom - Krona 6 Burnt Charcol

The Hagstrom Krona 6 Burnt Charcoal is a 6-string electric guitar that’s clearly designed for rock, with a Single Cut body shape and a Burnt Charcoal finish that give it a distinctive look. Its mahogany body features a maple top with a flamed maple veneer, creating a warm and dynamic foundation for both powerful rhythm parts and more melodic passages. The Canadian maple neck features a Slim C profile and is joined to the body via a mortise-and-tenon glued joint, a design that promotes efficient vibration transfer between the neck and the body.

In terms of tone, the Krona features two humbuckers developed specifically for this series. The Agent-X AlNiCo 5 at the neck favours a precise response and good definition, whilst the Penetrator AlNiCo 5 at the bridge boosts attack and output for more aggressive tones. The 3-position selector switch allows you to switch quickly between pickups, and each of the two tone controls features a push/pull function to split the coils and access more open tones.

The 25.5" (648 mm) scale length and Resinator™ fingerboard contribute to a precise playing feel, with a 15" radius and 22 Medium Jumbo frets. The Hagstrom Machined Steel Hardtail bridge secures the strings as they pass through the body, whilst the Hagstrom Locking Design tuners feature a 19:1 gear ratio. The Krona also retains Hagstrom’s signature H-Expander™ truss rod system, designed to facilitate adjustments and promote neck stability.
