Hercules DJ - DJLearning Kit MK3
The Hercules DJLearning Kit MK3 is a comprehensive package designed to help you discover DJ mixing in a cohesive environment, with control, monitoring and playback all integrated into a single setup. The DJ Control Inpulse 200 MK3 controller provides an accessible and expressive mixing interface, whilst the DJMonitor 32 speakers deliver sound suitable for working from home. The HDP DJ45 headphones complete this setup, allowing you to monitor upcoming tracks with precision. With its dedicated software, the pack transforms your desk into a mini DJ booth, without needing to clear out any space.
Presentation
Each deck features 4 pads with 4 modes, including Hot-Cue, FX, Loop and Sampler. The Loop, Instruments and Vocal controls expand the creative possibilities, whilst the Stems functions allow you to separate vocal and instrumental parts to create mashups in real time.
The mixing area also includes an Assistant button, three headphone preview controls, a dedicated volume control and a navigation control with two Load buttons. The DJUCED Assistant analyses available tracks and suggests the next tracks, making it easier to prepare transitions and maintain musical continuity during the mix.
On the software side, with DJUCED and Serato DJ Lite, Hercules provides two solutions tailored to learning and performance. Serato DJ Lite utilises the technology from Serato DJ Pro and incorporates Serato Stems, with separation of vocals and instrumental tracks. Access to Apple Music, Beatport, SoundCloud, Spotify and TIDAL also expands the available library, enabling you to prepare varied mixes without relying on a limited local catalogue.
The DJMonitor 32 speakers provide stereo sound output with 15 W RMS each, ideal for mixing at home. The HDP DJ45 completes the set with a dedicated output for previewing upcoming tracks, allowing you to work on transitions before incorporating them into the main mix. The package also includes USB and audio cables, which simplify the connection of the various components and ensure a tidy setup around the controller, computer, headphones and speakers.
Software upgrades remain an option thanks to the two-week free trial of Serato DJ Pro, which provides access to a more comprehensive platform for exploring advanced mixing features. DJUCED, for its part, integrates services such as Beatport, SoundCloud Go+ and TIDAL, with an extensive music library accessible from within the DJ environment. This complementary approach also allows users to gradually progress from learning the essential functions to a more performance-oriented practice, including mashups and the use of streaming music sources, without altering the pack’s core hardware setup.
