HK Audio - Elements MK2 115 Sub A

The HK Audio Sub Elements MK2 115 Sub A forms the bass foundation of a modular sound system capable of adapting to events of various sizes, offering extended reproduction at the lower end of the spectrum and sufficient headroom for amplified music.

For music playback, the capabilities of its 15-inch driver provide a solid foundation for concerts, DJ sets and festive events. Elements MK2 set-ups can be expanded with Elements MK2 635 mid-treble satellites to increase coverage, or with additional subwoofers to boost bass coverage.

The modular design also makes it easy to adapt the system to different stage set-ups. The SnapLock mechanism ensures a quick connection between compatible components, with no visible cables, and a stable, play-free lock. Automatic detection of the mid-treble units adjusts the necessary filters to suit the configuration in use.

The 115 Sub A can also be used in conjunction with the Sub LINEAR 5 MK2 115 SUB A, particularly to build bass configurations tailored to broadcast requirements. This combination also allows for cardioid set-ups, which are useful when controlling the directivity of the bass becomes a key factor on stage.

HK Audio has also incorporated network integration, which adds a particularly useful dimension to scalable installations. The shared DSP platform enables control via Ethernet and Milan-AVB audio distribution using a single network cable, whilst the DSP CONTROL software provides access to settings, presets and custom configurations. The DSP Out also extends processing to additional loudspeakers, delay lines or external bass systems.
