The alder body contributes to the overall balance of the sound. This wood is appreciated for its homogeneous response and its ability to let the pickups breathe. The Wizard 5-piece maple and walnut neck, reinforced with titanium KTS rods, provides remarkable stability. Its slim profile (18 mm at the 1st fret and 20 mm at the 12th) makes for fast, precise playing. Combined with an ebony fingerboard, renowned for its fast response and well-defined high notes, the whole ensemble gives an immediate feel under the fingers and a rich sustain.
