Studio Monitors
The iLoud Precision MTM MKII from IK Multimedia is a monitoring speaker calibrated like a scalpel for your mix. Its reinforced HDF cabinet, 3 drivers and custom Class D bi-amplification deliver an ultra-linear response from 45 Hz to 22.5 kHz, with controlled bass extension down to 37 Hz. The graphene textile dome tweeter adds airiness and detail, while the ARC X correction automatically adjusts your environment via the supplied MEMS microphone. You work faster, more confidently, with a surgical stereo image and transparency that never lies. In short, a monitor that tells the truth, even when it stings.

Presentation
Imagine yourself in front of your mix, every detail down to the last millimetre: the IK Multimédia iLoud Precision MTM MKII was designed for just that. With its 2 x 5" paper bass drivers and 1.5" graphene-reinforced tweeter, you'll feel a clarity that cuts through the spectrum. The flat response and customised dual Class D amplification ensure fast transients and a solid bass that descends naturally without the need for a subwoofer. You can push the SPL up to 117dB peak, and the speaker always keeps its cool.
The real magic happens with ARC X, the calibration software included. Plug in the supplied MEMS microphone, the speaker analyses your space and automatically corrects the response, balancing your entire system in a matter of seconds. No more mixes that sound great in your studio but bland elsewhere: with the iLoud Precision MTM MKII, what you hear is what will come out everywhere, from the club to the neighbour's headphones. You can even take things a step further by emulating over 20 different types of loudspeaker, so you can test your work as if you had a control room full of monitors at your fingertips.
The HDF cabinet isn't just a box, it's an architecture designed to limit resonance and stabilise diffusion. The DSP-optimised bass reflex port guarantees precise bass that is never slobbery, even at high volumes. The 3 drivers work hand in hand, aligned in time by an internal 96 kHz DSP. The result is a solid stereo image, with each instrument in the right place in space. When you work for a long time, your ears stay fresh, because everything remains legible and natural.
IK Multimédia has even thought about the comfort of placement: the speaker comes with its iLoud Isolation Pods in aluminium, which decouple it from your work surface and reduce the transfer of vibrations. Add to this a vertical directivity controlled at ±50°, and you get stable listening, even when you move slightly in your sweet spot. Built-in DSP controls let you tailor the speaker to your room with different filters and adjustable contours. In short, instead of adapting to your speakers, they adapt to your environment.
In terms of power, it delivers without flinching: 145 W RMS for bass alone, 30 W for treble, and a dynamic reserve that keeps your mixes lively and precise. The 'Desk', 'LF', 'Mid' and 'HF' correction pads let you fine-tune the tonal balance to the nearest dB, depending on your room and your desk. Even after several hours' work, you can still listen comfortably without hearing fatigue. You can make one decision after another with confidence, without worrying about your ears playing tricks on you. A real studio partner, not a gadget.

Designed and tested in Modena, Italy, the iLoud Precision MTM MKII draws on over 25 years of IK Multimedia expertise in DSP processing and loudspeaker design. Each unit is calibrated and tested by hand to guarantee a tolerance of less than 0.5dB, giving you a pair perfectly consistent with any other.
To get the most out of this speaker, think about the accessories that will complete your setup: a solid audio interface to get the most out of the DSP, quality balanced XLR cables to limit noise.
You can also integrate wall or surround mounts using the fixings provided on the Precision MTM MKII. Your studio becomes a real audio cockpit.
