With the JG-30 GY, Jet Guitars has created a gig bag designed for the journey, not for the shop window. Between Tuesday evening’s rehearsal and Saturday’s gig, the instrument travels just as much as its owner, and every bump counts.
The 20 mm foam padding acts as a buffer between the guitar and the outside world: a doorframe, a fall from a bike, a bag set down a bit too hastily on the ground. This thickness absorbs the impact before it reaches the body of the instrument.
Inside, the 102 × 34 × 5.5 cm space cradles the guitar without excessive play, which limits internal movement during transport. On the outside, the dimensions of 105 × 37 × 8.5 cm provide the necessary allowance for the padding itself, without making the case bulky.
The grey colour scheme provides a neutral finish, with no flashy logos or garish colours – a classic design that will stand the test of time on stage without ever looking dated.
